How much does hiring a private chef service from Olives and Dates cost?The cost of our services varies based on factors such as guest count, meal preference (breakfast, lunch, or dinner), event type, and whether you require our services for the entire day.

Can you provide information on additional expenses associated with hiring a chef service?Guests are charged 100% for groceries, excluding a 15% fee. They can also request a butler or service staff for an extra charge.

How do you determine the budget for groceries?The value of your dining experience can vary depending on the number of guests, the type of cuisine, and the complexity of the dishes.

Do I need a full kitchen in my resort or villa?It is highly recommended to have a full kitchen. It's essential to check with your property manager about what kitchen equipment, including kitchen and tableware, will be needed for dining. Most accommodations, resorts, or villas usually provide this information.

Is there a restriction on choosing and deciding the menu?Please share your menu and serving preferences with us to provide you with the best service possible. If you prefer plated-style meals, we advise having a one-course option for each course, and we can provide up to a 5-course dinner for your group, depending on the availability of platters at your location. Alternatively, we can provide cutlery rental for an extra charge. Family-style service is recommended for those who prefer sharing their meals, with a maximum of 3 selections per course for up to a 3-course meal. This ensures our chef has enough time to carefully prepare each dish with attention and care.

When should we forward the finalized menu?To provide you with a seamless service experience, kindly inform us at least a week before your initial service. This will give us ample time to check the stock availability on the island and provide you with recommendations. It will also enable us to modify any necessary menu before the service date.

When should I need to make a reservation?We recommend making your reservations as early as possible on a first-come, first-served basis. Although last-minute bookings may be accommodated, availability cannot be guaranteed.

What are the payment terms?In order to confirm your booking, it is essential to make the full payment to secure the date of service.

What is your cancellation policy?To receive a full refund, you must cancel your service at least 30 calendar days before the initial service date. If you cancel between 30 and 7 calendar days before the initial service date, a 50% refund will be available. However, if you cancel with less than 7 calendar days’ notice, no refund will be possible. Please note that a 5% processing fee will be deducted from all cancellation refunds.
